The challenges that await you

As part of the implementation project for the new HRIS system, the City of Laval is looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst who will actively participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of this new system. This project will cover the following areas:

  • Employee file
  • Organizational structure
  • Payroll management
  • Time management

Therefore, under the authority of the Project Business Lead, you will be part of the project team playing a key role by collaborating with various HR experts and ensuring that the new system meets the organization's requirements while highlighting best practices. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Documenting the functional requirements of the new HR/Payroll/Time processes;
  • Analyzing and proposing a data structure focused on integrity and ensuring accurate and meaningful information;
  • Participating in defining implementation and testing strategies;
  • Testing the configurations made, validating their compliance, and ensuring they meet functional requirements;
  • Providing training to end users and maintaining documentation on methods and procedures related to the new system;
  • Regularly collaborating with the HRIS operations team by informing them of the progress of project-related work and discussing issues that may arise and solutions to address them.
The ideal profile for us
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in management information systems, administration, or any other relevant field;
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in implementing an HRIS system;
  • Strong skills in database management and data analytics;
  • Ability to analyze HR/Payroll/Time needs, solve problems, and design effective solutions;
  • Communicate effectively to convey technical information with HR and IT professionals;
  • Be familiar with the issues and challenges of implementing HR solutions;
  • Experience in translating client needs into deliverables, preparing documentation, and presentations;
  • Very good expertise in configuration and HR Payroll operations, ability to support less experienced colleagues;
  • Good analytical skills, autonomous and responsive; you demonstrate a good ability to adapt to a complex environment.
